Every day yet another reason to feel shame that this man is leading our country.

Courtesy of People:

President Donald Trump flubbed a key word in his address to the March for Life rally on Friday, mistakenly telling anti-abortion protesters that it’s wrong for babies to be “born” in the ninth month of a pregnancy.

“Right now, a number of state laws allow a baby to be born from his or her mother’s womb in the ninth month. It is wrong. It has to change,” he said.

As the Daily Beast pointed out, Trump’s prepared remarks showed that he meant to say “torn,” rather than “born,” in a reference to late-term abortion.

Come on, we know that if this HAD NOT been written out for him that he would have made even less sense.

But hey, let us not forget that according to a 10 minute cognitive test Donald Trump is like the smartest president ever!

You got that right! Je$u$ FUCKing chRi$'T'! BLOW$!

"“We have a businessman who is a president, not a politician, but a businessman,” Graham said. “We should all be grateful that he’s brought his knowledge to Washington and he’s helping to turn this economy around.”
“I can promise you he is not President Perfect,”

"“Now did he have an affair with this woman? I have no clue, but I believe that 70 years of age, the president is a much different person today than he was four years ago, five years ago, ten years ago or whatever and we just have to give the man the benefit of the doubt,”“He said he didn’t do it, so okay, let’s say he didn’t do it,” Graham suggested.

“I don’t think it’s hypocritical because he’s a flawed man, for me to try to support him and help him and pray for him,” Graham said. “I’m a flawed person. and I would hate for people to see all the baggage I have in my life, but the fact is that God has forgiven me and I’ve asked for his forgiveness, and I think the president has, too.”"

@7:04 "“What we see here is a mass coverup by so-called white evangelicalism that’s more about, as I’ve said before, cash than Christ,”
“We see 365 days of attacks on voting rights, that’s sin, attacks on Muslims, that’s sin, attacks on the LGBT community, that’s sin, attacks on health care, attacks on living wages, giving the greedy and the wealthy tax breaks on the backs of the poor and the working poor,” Barber said. “Wherever you look in the scripture, that’s sin. Anyone who attempts to justify that is engaging in a modern day form of heresy.”"

I seriously doubt that any babies are "torn" from their mother's wombs during the ninth month of pregnancy. Delivering a baby by C-section in the ninth month of pregnancy is not abortion. It is a medical procedure done for medical reasons. Babies survive the procedure and so do mothers. In some instances, either one or the other would not survive if the procedure were not done.

Yep, and I'm one of them. Now with two strapping young men as my sons who will NEVER vote for T.RUmp or his ilk, not fall for the scam of religion, and not serve in the military under idiots like this, at least never willingly. I've done my part for the country. Meanwhile, they'll respect women, and contribute to the good of the world with their educations and intellect.

Where's my thanks for my service to my country?

First of all, there is NO abortion in the 9th month of any pregnancy. Any emergencies arising would be handled with an emergency C-section.

Don't forget that the Republicans are the majority in Congress and many of them are going to the podium and publically blaming Shummer for the Trump Shutdown!

Republicans are going to lose so many seats - they are a rancid bunch of individuals as far as I'm concerned.

'rump's literacy is more of that of a "word caller" than of someone with basic reading comprehension skills.

He is able to say the "name" of words as he reads, but does not appear to comprehend the meaning of the clauses and sentences which the individual words construct. He literally does not understand what he is saying when he "word calls" which leads to an odd rhythm in his reading and a tendency to "mis-call" words because he is only working off the letters he is seeing/mis-seeing without the benefit of context clues.

      very interesting...
"Hyperlexia is associated with autism spectrum disorders (ADS) and is estimated to occur in 5–10% of the ASD population (Burd, Kerbeshan, & Fisher, 1985). Hyperlexia is thought to be part of a neurological disorder (ADS) that impairs children’s social interactions, including their ability to appropriately use and understand language (Grigorenko et al., 2002; Nation et al., 2006; Newman et al., 2007). Therefore, hyperlexia is not the result of an overreliance on a particular pedagogical strategy; rather, it is part of a complicated array of symptoms caused by a neurological disorder manifesting in an inability to understand the social world."
"teacher-identified word callers had weaker skills in both reading fluently and reading comprehension compared with their peers. That is, although teachers perceived all the students they selected for the study to have similar oral reading fluency, teacher-identified word callers read significantly and considerably more slowly than their peers."

    2. Exactly. And why he makes these comprehension mistakes, like born instead of torn. Not wearing glasses because of vanity is probably part of it too.

Would explain the bullet points with a word or two and also the reliance on pictures, graphs, maps etc.

They guy is fucking illiterate. We know this. He probably can’t read much higher than Raymond Briggs The Snowman.

He certainly can’t read and comprehend those articles about him in Forbes and the NYT. Has minions read them and orally give him a summary.

What we need now is a tell all from a minion “I was Trump’s “reader”.”

There are NO third trimester abortions, unless what they are removing is a corpse. Which if not removed would rot and cause sepsis and death of the mother.

"“There are already ample indicators that additional testing is indicated,” reads the op-ed. “And this is just on the neurological side. It does not even touch the psychological side, where urgent concerns also lie and an assessment should have been done starting with a full history and standardized battery of testing.”"
" described themselves as “a forensic psychiatrist and government ethicist” say that the question of Trump’s mental fitness is a matter of public health, and that the public shouldn’t be left to “fend for themselves” without analysis from qualified mental health professionals." “The limited screen Trump received can even be harmful, by giving the public a false sense of reassurance,”
" Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, say that it is the “public duty” of qualified experts to point out warning signs of mental disorder in the president, and that doing so should not be condemned as unfair diagnosing. Critiques of Trump’s cognitive exam don’t seek to diagnose, say the authors, but bring attention to the concern rather than remain silent on an issue of such importance."

Don’t Let Dishonest Don Erase Honest Abe

...Trump’s lies have ranged from the consequential to the quotidian, from sustained misrepresentations about the Affordable Care Act to his bizarre obsession with lying about crowd sizes. Many of the lies are banal, easily disproven and seemingly harmless in their pettiness and irrelevance. But that is the very danger. With his daily doses of deceit, Trump is undermining the notion of truth and waging war on the foundations of American democracy. As Trumpism becomes normalized, we risk abandoning the norms that have long guided American public life, including the expectations we have of those who hold the nation’s highest office.
