Bat wielding Canadian attacks family from Colombia while yelling that they are ISIS.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

On Thursday, a man armed with a baseball bat attacked a family in the parking lot of the Elgin Mall in St. Thomas, Ontario, accusing them of being Islamic terrorists.

However, according to the Toronto City News, the family was from Colombia and were speaking Spanish as they made their way through the parking lot.

“We got terrorists here!” shouted the man — who was later arrested at his home in London, ON. “ISIS!” He swung the bat at the family several times, striking an adult male and cracking his ribs.

He then fled the parking lot in a white BMW.

Police charged the 36-year-old attacker with aggravated assault and three counts of assault with a weapon. Officials said the attack “appears to have been racially motivated.”

Ah, so they do have Trump supporters in Canada.

Interesting to note that they are just as unhinged there as they are in America.

Just for the record, how many Spanish speaking members of ISIS have we identified thus far?

The only thing that will stop a bad guy with a bat is a good guy with a bat. Just sayin'.

Yes, unfortunately, we do have Trump supporters here in Canada. While the majority of Canadians are peace loving folk, there is a certain segment of the population who align themselves with the intolerant and bigoted views of your President and his followers. The good thing is that in Canada perpetrators of hate crimes are held responsible for their actions.

Also the good thing is that Canada isn't dripping with assault rifles. Would've gone VERY differently here. :(

Care to trade 6:46? One peace loving, educated American family for a family of your Trump supporters. We'd obviously both be happier elsewhere.

Don't kid yourself, they have a few nutty conservatives in Canada also, they aren't all necessarily trump supporters.
Steven Harper wasn't exactly a liberal.

Fox News host Laura Ingraham is worried that women speaking out about sexual harassment and abuse is "just killing all the fun of Christmas."

...Fox News host and Trump cheerleader Laura Ingraham is concerned about the growing number of women who are coming forward to report incidents of sexual assault and harassment.

Well, she’s not actually concerned about the women — she’s worried that they might ruin office Christmas parties this year.

“Is the #MeToo movement becoming a spoiler for this season’s Christmas parties?” Ingraham asked Friday evening during a segment on Fox News’ The Ingraham Angle.

Speaking with comedian Jimmy Failla, Ingraham said she was worried that women who feel empowered to report sexual misconduct might ruin the holiday season by making office Christmas parties less festive.

“I can see this year it might be — a little less festive, let’s say that. No alcohol and no fun and no lampshades and, I don’t know, maybe that’s better,” she said.

“Is this just killing all the fun of Christmas?” she wondered absurdly.

Using the same logic that says it's not the time to discuss gun control after a mass shooting.

(THREAD) It's time to tell the biggest untold story of the 2016 election: how a cadre of pro-Trump FBI agents and intel officers—some active, some retired—conspired to swing the election to Trump. The story involves Flynn, Prince, Giuliani, and others. Hope you'll read and share.

I've always wondered why Giuliani isn't mentioned more. Now there's a rat, and I'll bet that he's up to his eyeballs in this.

The document mostly cites conservative media and the Moore campaign itself.

How terrifying for those poor people! And to attempt an assault on children no less!

The guy with the baseball bat thinks they're speaking French. In a country where French is the official second language! The poor terrified family. Canada has laws against race/religion baiting so I'm sure the baseball bat nutcase will come before judge and jury soon. What a world we live in.

  9. If that would have happend in the US, they would be all dead after the attack, the bat would have been an AK-45.

Thanks to your President DentureDon, they feel strong enough all over the planet to come out of hiding.

    https://www.rawstory.com/2017/12/religious-trauma-syndrome-how-some-organized-religion-leads-to-mental-health-problems-2/

    “Religious Trauma Syndrome” (RTS)
people are surprised by the idea of RTS, because in our culture it is generally assumed that religion is benign or good for you. Just like telling kids about Santa Claus and letting them work out their beliefs later, people see no harm in teaching religion to children.

"in reality, religious teachings and practices sometimes cause serious mental health damage. The public is somewhat familiar with sexual and physical abuse in a religious context. in authoritarian religious groups also can be damaging because of
    1) toxic teachings like eternal damnation or original sin
    2) religious practices or mindset, such as punishment, black and white thinking, or sexual guilt, and
    3) neglect that prevents a person from having the information or opportunities to develop normally.' A core message is
“YOU are BAD and wrong and deserve to die.”
    “trust and obey.”
"People who internalize these messages can suffer from learned helplessness."
" becoming aware of religious trauma. More and more people are leaving religion," Hallelujah!
