President Obama’s elder daughter was spotted in Williamsburg on Thursday, casually sipping a soft drink while hanging out on the set of the raunchy Lena Dunham comedy.
The 16-year-old — who turns 17 on Saturday — spent about three hours on location in Brooklyn as the HBO show filmed at the Aurora Ristorante, a hipster haven on Grand Street.
Well considering how much the conservatives hate Dunham, and of course their all but overwhelming hatred for the President, I think we can rest assured that this is going to cause some Right Wing heads to explode.

What do you suppose working on the set of an HBO movie is like? Why would you think Malia would be exposed to any sexual situations? Do you understand how filming a show works? Malia is going to be fetching and carrying things, taking notes, organizing things like catering, accepting deliveries, etc. etc. etc. like any other intern on any other TV shoot. She might not even be on set most of the time. She is not going to be watching nude scenes. When controversial scenes are filmed, the set is CLOSED and only essential staff are present. Until today Malia would have needed their permission to see it. DeleteBesides this afternoon we saw a lot worse along the shore of one of our up-north lakes - a big hangout for young adults on summer weekends, literally thousands of cars, hundreds of boats, and way too many young people, all of the girls decked out in very minimal bikinis. Fortunately there were plenty of police around. This is a party scene responsible for lots of drinking, boating accidents and worse. We were glad to get passed it all and on the way home. A lot safer for Malia to be where she was than around than yahoos like these boat partiers.
