Sarah Palin' interview on Hannity last night. Is there a more WTF term than WTF?

So Hannity starts off the interview by showing an especially crazy portion of Palin's Iowa speech. (Yeah try to find a non-crazy part.)

I don't know how he THOUGHT she might react to seeing it again, but it clearly pissed her off.

He then brings up the fact that Palin was asked about running for President in 2016, and asks for her response to that question.

"I was asked by a pesky reporter while I was promoting my Sportsman Channel show 'Amazing America with Sarah Palin.'  I was if I were to be interested in at all in running for office, maybe presidency, and it's certainly not newsworthy for me to have answered 'Oh yeah I'm interested, yeah. Next question?' I think that anyone who has been blessed with an opportunity to serve the American public in different capacities, and within their own state, to not be interested would be..not..uh...standing up to what's right, and doing what's right."

Now if you think I simply made all of that up to make it appear that the woman was either drunk or batshit crazy, I assure that it is word salad for word salad.

For reasons that I can't quite fathom Hannity actually continues the interview and asks her more pointedly if she is thinking about running for the presidency. Such a slow learner.

"I along with others on a deep bench are no doubt thinking about it but it’s much too early to say whether I, and others I’m sure would answer the same way, they, would be throwing their hat in the ring.”

In other words, "I am fucking warning you Sean to drop it!"

But Hannity refuses to listen and rephrases the question again. (Just watch Palin's face during this. Can you see the smoke coming out of her ears?)

In response to the question Palin launches into what can only be described as a diatribe that includes using her family and God as an excuse for her reticence to answer the question, and a stream of consciousnesses attack on government, and even a shot at Republicans.

At this point I don't know it Hannity is just too thick to recognize that Palin is losing her shit, or if he is passively aggressively driving her over the brink. But he follows up with a question about the criticism she received about the Iowa speech, including from the Right, and asks her if the reason was a failed teleprompter. (Hang on going to need more popcorn for this answer.)

"You know I don't read the praise, and I don't read the criticism (Bullshit!) because I know how you guys, or how the media in general works. (At this point Hannity tries to interject that he is not part of that group, but Palin isn't listening.) I'm used to teleprompters not working, remember at the GOP acceptance speech back in '08 the teleprompter broke there too, it didn't work and I kept on going so, no, I don't know I received a standing ovation throughout and at the end of the speech."

(Seriously?)

"So I don't know I think a lot of this is a herd mentality of some reporters would..uh..uh..that kind of exacerbates some of the criticism. But I don't know what anybody really would, when you talk about the meat, the content, of the speech, would criticize when I talk about courage, and integrity, and a track record of any candidate that is needed in order to, be able to, sincerely serve the people of America who deserve real hope and real change and not more of same, not more of status quo, of the old energy if you will. But we need new energy, new ideas, and as I say very, very important that we have a track record proving what works. (At this point Hannity is trying to get control of the interview back, but to no avail.) But what I also made a point of in that speech Sean, and this is important, is knowing what the media id going to do throughout 2016. And, my prediction, Hillary will be running and she will be..the..you know...the knighted candidate on the Left, and with the media. Knowing what the media is going to do, it's going to take more than a village to beat Hillary. There needs to be unity, understanding that we have that..conservatives have that strike against us right off the bat, that being the media. Even there on Fox, you know kind of a quasi or assumed conservative outlet, and we have all day listen to the tease of Bill O'Reilly, he's talking about the guests on his show tonight, or the commentary on his show, and that would be oh all these...uh...GOP contenders thinking about running for president, like Donald Trump, Sarah Palin, and he names them off, he says 'Oh what a reality show that would be. Yuck yuck.' Well the Left doesn't do that okay they..they..they take this serious. Because this is war, and hopefully the media, even the quasi Right side of the media, won't be looking at us as some kind of reality show. A joke. Because maybe they have theirs (Hannity tries again to gain control, and fails.)so they're taken care of, they're fine. No the people of America deserve the best, and competition through a GOP primary, whether a Bill O'Reilly or somebody else assumes it's a reality show or not, they deserve that competition to surface the competitor who can take on Hillary, or whomever it may be, and win for this country."

Sooooo, DID the teleprompter go out?

Wait, did she just attack Bill O'Reilly, the biggest star on Fox News? Damn, she is way off her meds!

Essentially this interview simply sounds like a part deux of her crazy speech in Iowa. It's like she woke up, felt she had more batshit that needed to be let out, and called up Fox News to provide a forum.

Incredibly Hannity continues to try and get Palin to say if she is running, and asks her if she were what would be the things she would run on and offers her a list of choices.

Her response is to say "Check, check, check, those absolutely."  And then follows up with a string of conservative talking points spewed out in a hyperactive rat-a-tat-tat of verbal shrapnel.

Hannity takes one last stab at getting Palin to give odds on whether she is running but she refuses to take the bait, and Hannity finally has to admit defeat.

The take away from all of this, besides a massive migraine, is that Palin was bullshitting about a run in 2016, which of course everybody with a handful of brains cells to rub together already knew, and that she is essentially coming apart at the seams.

I predict that her next SarahPAC filings will be the lowest ones yet.

She is finished. Anything that happens to her from this point on is almost beside the point.

Wow, what an article from a previous diehard supporter of palin. I esp. like "Is it possible that Kathleen Parker saw something I didn't when she attacked Palin? I saw it as strangling the conservative baby in the crib; Parker probably saw it as snuffing out a monster".

Palin spent the first half of her Iowa speech complaining about the media criticizing her.

In her "connect with the locals" intro, she bitched about how, when she was in Iowa once, she ran a half-marathon and the media said something mean about it. She dragged up something so minor from years ago, to illustrate her connection to Iowa.

I can only image how she's reacting to the media coverage of her this week. My bet is she's curled up in a fetal position on the floor, and this makes me smile.

Was there even a standing ovation throughout and at the end of the iowa speech. That pic looked like a bunch of bored/amused people were sitting there real quiet. There was a commenter on the Fox News thread last night, PencePalin 2016 Who kept repeating how wonderful she'd been doing, the standing ovation etc. other commenters asked if he or she was paid by Palin

The best, absolutely BEST comment I have ever read about Ms Palin, from the National Review. "She could sober up and prove the buggers wrong, or she could collapse into ignominious pasquinade. When Byron York ponders whether her speeches EVER made sense, he:

      --------------------------------

“Do they ever?” For a long while now, Palin has not so much contributed arguments and ideas as she has thrown together a one-woman variety show for a band of traveling fans. One part free verse, one part Dada-laden ressentiment, and one part primal scream therapy, Palin’s appearances seem to be designed less to advance the ball for the Right and more to ensure that her name remains in the news, that her business opportunities are not entirely foreclosed, and that her hand remains strong enough to justify her role as kingmaker without portfolio

      ------------
      Excellent read.

My theory: she said she's "seriously considering" running for president, starting her distracting, pointless, old tease again.

Now Obama can't run again, the next election is gearing up, and she's no longer useful for racial baiting, just a serious pain in the ass. She will no longer be protected from the harsh glare of reality by the PTB. I wonder how many people are waiting to kick her on her way down?

Palin doesn't realize that she has been "surfaced" as the one who can't beat Hillary. She was among a group seriously considering a run--"the competition"--and she failed to impress. She got knocked off but won't admit it.

But I think Palin is mean enough to run to wreck havoc on the Republican Party because she has had so much "conservative" criticism. She now has a new group in her own party to add to her hate/revenge list.

Palin, no matter what, will try to create chaos in 2016. That's her way.

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) has helped raise so much money for a pro-Hillary Clinton super PAC that she qualifies to co-chair the group's national finance council.

The group, Ready For Hillary, used comments about Clinton that Palin made over the weekend in Iowa to raise more than $25,000.

"It's going to take more than a village to beat Hillary," Palin said on Saturday. "I'm ready for Hillary. Are you coming?"

Ready For Hillary immediately seized on the comments and emailed supporters, asking them to donate. On Tuesday evening, the group emailed supporters again, announcing that the super PAC had raised more than $25,000 as a result of Palin's comments -- enough to qualify the former GOP candidate for vice president to be a co-chair of Ready for Hillary.

Ready For Hillary said in Tuesday's email that it would wait for Palin to call before officially adding her name to the list of co-chairs.

  26. Remember when she was not only not invited to the 2012 RNC as a participant, but fox got pissed at her and grounded her from providing commentary.

The mainstream right wing (oxymoron, I know) has long since held a position of not catering to her, but going along with the "cut her some slack, she was so horrifically and unfairly abused by the bad old media" narrative.

Now? The knives are out. The narrative has changed to "yes, the media was so unfair to her in 2008, but that doesn't change the fact that she is not fit, ready, or capable of being elected."

Is she honked off or what?! LOL She knows she's finished, she sealed that last weekend, although, in my opinion, the Throw Down At The Hoedown was the catalyst. She says the American people are looking for courage, integrity, and track record? Well, that rules "her" out because she's got one heck of a closet full of skeletons and they "will" come out.

Her "nyuk nyuk" response to BOR's saying Trump and she would be a reality show? I giggled.....yes, $arah dear, the Two Stooges and that sure got under your skin, now didn't it?

The final FEC 2014 filings show that SarahPAC only took in 56.5K in the 4th quarter and spent over double it. She's going bankrupt.....hence her mania, BUT she outted her excuse why she won't: Family, but of course, like she's ever paid attention to them!

Like a domino, down she goes.......and absolutely NO one to blame but herself.

I have watched the speech twice and I only saw a lack luster "ovation" at the end of the speech. A few zealots standing up at times or perhaps stretching their legs is not an ovation. An ovation requires the body in mass to come to their feet. It was a polite ovation, not an enthusiastic ovation.

The fact that Hannity showed that specific clip of Sarah talking about "the man" tells a lot. It says he's even betraying idolizing her and for a moment, asking her to explain WTH she's saying?

It proves one thing. That Hannity and Fox had a round table meeting, and decided they'd better stop enabling her. They've decided to ask her a few hard questions. They must see her insanity leaking out.

I don't feel sorry for Fox News; I wonder though what it was that got under their skin that they finally challenge her?

The powers that be who control Ailes have asked him to put her on the shelf; there are new sheriffs in town, like Joni Ernst and the Koch's love Rubio, and the new faces need new energy and new oxygen. They don't want reality tv performers sucking out all that very expensive invested Koch-run oxygen.

Fox may not like it the crosshairs in the FUC_Michael Moore autographed (by Sarah) photo. It was Ailes who told her to shut up, not make a speech, after the crosshairs on Gabby Giffords' district map and the subsequent shooting but Sarah didn't listen to Ailes. The latest crosshairs brings the Giffords shooting front and center again.

After read the admission at the Daily Beast I have an understanding of how a politicar party hitched their wagon to their shining star, Palin, who wowed them delivering the convention speech. She was to be the great hope with her charisma, cleaned up preppy looking family.

Wow! So great was their hope in her they looked the other way and automaticly defended everything citizens were aghast about increasingly. They dismissed valid objections, fair criticisim, habitual lies, bizarre word salads including the Couric interview.

"low brow redneck" reference that is accurate and Palin has increased channeling that. Talk about denial! WTF?!
What is the real tragedy is her defenders and staunch supporters wanted the speech giving, dressed up PalIns to be real that they ignored everything that did not validate the mythical family.

Wow! Even the F you F that drunken slugfest, Palin dressing inappropriately, aged low brow sexy wear, etc. Etc. Did not register as also true about her.

This is tragic and much damage done by them denying the horrible, shocking to evil things Palin has said and done and even appearances dressed as a mentally ill person.

Even Joe Scarsborough believed lies that truth is a fabricated attack. Perhaps it took this Iowa speech reminiscent of the Couric interviews (Putin...where does he go, ir's Alaska) on top of the brawl, pride of FUC Moore, recent aged slut wear, hitch hike promos, big kid on dog to burst their denial.

    From National Review:
All in all, York proposed, this did her no favors at all. Rather, the “long, rambling, and at times barely coherent speech, left some wondering what role she should play in Republican politics as the 2016 race begins.”

This, I think, is a good question, and one to which I have a modest answer: How about . . . none? Instead, Palin should leave the field to those who are in possession of genuine political aspirations, and she should refrain from treating the Republican party as if it were a little more than a convenient vehicle for her private ambition. In the meantime, conservatives who are finally cottoning on to the ruse should recognize that this Iowa sojourn was not an aberration or a blip, but the foreordained culmination of a slow and unseemly descent into farce that began almost immediately after Barack Obama was elected in 2008. So Sarah Palin has become Amy Winehouse? Of course she has. How else exactly was this going to end?

Desperate For Cash Sarah Palin Says God Will Tell Her Whether Or Not To Run In 2016

Sarah Palin says God will tell her whether or not to run for president, but the real reason why Palin is talking 2016 is a desperate need for cash.

...The real reason Sarah Palin is going back to the fake presidential campaign well can be found in the finances of her SarahPAC. According to Open Secrets, SarahPAC’s fundraising dropped from more than $5 million in 2012 to $2.7 million in 2014. In 2014, the PAC spent more than it took in, and its cash on hand dropped to $825,556. In other words, Sarah Palin is rumbling about the White House because she needs cash. Palin can’t afford to run for president. Most of the big donors in the Republican Party are already choosing their candidates, but Palin has learned that pretending to run for president boosts donations, so Sarah is back to her favorite scam.

The media will never learn that Palin is running a con. She has no intention of running for office. Sarah Palin only mission is scam more money out of her marks.

    Gryph,
I said last night that I thought her appearance on Hannity was her trying to be subdued. I've also said that I thought the Kochs would come through and save her once again from herself. I mean the drunken brawl should have taken her out but didn't, perhaps it was the timing. But now, after reading your post and watching again the way Sean interviewed her, it DOES look like the gloves have been taken off and Sarah is now getting ready to be destroyed. I have been hesitant about accepting that this could finally be the takedown because the question has to be asked, "why now?"

This speech is no worse than all of her previous speeches, they've NEVER made sense. She has been hinting at running before and never did, so why all of a sudden are they getting their panties in a wad now? I mean Sarah hasn't changed since she came on the scene, her crudeness is legendary yet the media has always circled the wagons and protected her.

Could the Roger Ailes-Koch Boys consortium be ready to take out their Queen? Was this speech really the last straw for them?

Nooooo... the answer was presented on Saturday night. The FUC U picture ! It has to be that picture of her holding that sign and looking drunk and suggestive that has tipped the scales! The speech was just a gift!

As usual, with Sarah, timing is everything. Getting attention has always been her priority and she got it this past weekend. When you live by the sword, you die by the sword and contrary to that idiotic saying, all publicity is NOT good.

Sarah hasn't learned that the good Christian woman can be a whore in the bedroom but it's not acceptable to dress like a whore and pose in an obscene picure and sound like a drunken whore the very next day!

The only thing Sarah should do now is to sit down and STFU.

After 6 1/2 years of Sarah Palin known nationwide and the antics she has displayed since, why is still unfathomable for some to believe that Sarah Palin was capable and most likely did fake the birth of a child named Trig Palin.

Maybe conservatives really are ganging up on Sarah. The other day some write-up about Huckabee stating he didn't like women who were crass and used the F-Word in the workforce. He was appalled at the amount of women in NYC who he heard speak crassly.

Wonder if that was a dig at Sarah?

  66. A conservative was quoted on one site as saying (regarding Palin) that "there was a coarseness there that hadn't been there before."

Well, of course, it actually has been there all along, but the brawl really threw it out there for all to see.

So for a lot of conservatives, in just the last few months, they have seen:

    The brawl
    The (seemingly) increasing "coarseness"
    The Colorado drunk speech
    The Iowa drunk/drugged/crazy speech
    The Hannity Presents Nutballs show
    More?

In addition, as they read these recent stories, they are likely stumbling across links to accounts of her previous trashy behavior.

The republican establishment has known all along that she wouldn't be running. She hasn't been doing the work and she hasn't been raising the money. Even if they can't win against (likely) Hillary, I'm sure they want to be regarded as having been a serious party running a serious campaign.

Let Palin run around, crazy as a bucket of rabid monkeys, defining the republicans as a bunch of crazy stupid yahoos? Nah, I think they want to shut down the clown car as much as possible. Palin is a good place to start.

Sarah has ALWAYS been crude, lewd and disgusting. She uses sexual languaging to put men down pretty regularly, most likely due to her innate rage at her sexual abuse in early childhood. She really hates men in general, though she will use them for her purposes of attention. She has always been low class, filthy, unkempt, tasteless, offensive, indecent, vulgar and coarse. The ONLY thing that has gotten her as far as she has is (which is now dramatically fading) her physical attractiveness. If she strips off the troweled on makeup, stringy hair pieces, fake blowup tits, fake glasses and fake teeth, she's a horror. She has been living a lie for so long that she can't tell the difference between what's real and what's not. She's now become a drug addict and a drunk and seems to have lost control of herself in a debilitating and degrading way. She 'bought' the myth that she's been busy creating for so long and now it's coming home to roost how disingenuous, dishonest and disgusting she really is. She's a whore, through and through, but then that should be no surprise since she married a pimp. She comes from such a sick and twisted father and absent mother that turned a blind eye to the incest that was right in front of her face. She lost herself in 'religion' rather than protecting her daughters from the vile animal she married. And it all could happen because of the code of silence that incest and sexual abuse perpetrators and victims collude under.

The mainstream media has made the rest of us suffer for the last six years because of its massive failure to vet her during the 2008 campaign. From the fake pregnancy. the undercurrent of racism to her obvious stupidity and lack of capability for the job that she demonstrated on the campaign trail, the media always gave her a pass. It's six years later and she has done a great deal of damage to the tenor of national political discourse. She has also helped in the dumbing down (via the "Tea Party") of the American electorate. The New York Times has always considered itself above it all and has simply ignored her. At least the Washington Post, whether we like what they write or not, has not been too snobby to mention her name. Big mistake.

Thank you, Gryphen, for all you've done. Now we need the "nail in the coffin," the truth about the fake pregnancy.

"No, the people of America deserve the best, and competition through a GOP primary, whether a Bill O'Reilly or somebody else assumes it's a reality show or not, they deserve that competition to surface the competitor who can take on Hillary, or whomever it may be, and win for this country."

Sarah's repeatedly made this same claim before; she believes it takes someone (like her) to filter out the best person in the competition or, (n her words, to surface the competitor'). She believes she is qualified to vet the competitors and can be used at venues like the Iowa Summit to sieve out the good and the bad. She really believes she's skilled enough to compete with Hillary, or at least help the GOP find the right candidate. She can't even get her 6 year-old down syndrome child to eat a Cheerio. She can't control her kids while they crash a drunken party and begs them to 'watch their language' (all on tape). Really, Sarah?

What I would like to know is her state of mind once she read the scathing reviews from her Iowa speech up to the start of Hannity's interview. She's clearly, visibly upset that she has to sit there and defend herself. She has that "tell" in her sentences when she's irritated with the question. She accelerates through what she says and quickly deflects.

After reading the reviews, I want to know:

If she stepped on the dog
Kicked anyone who came near her
    Yelled at Todd
    Yelled at the kids
    Didn't feed Trig
    Slapped Bristol
    Locked herself in her room
Emptied the house because she started raging
Started calling SarahPac employees and yelled at them
    Cussed at the teevee
    Threw anything at the refrigerator
    Thrashed the house

He actually lived in Wasilla and interviewed many folks that knew the idiot and her family members in order to write the book. Plus, he interviewed many others throughout Alaska!

His book was well written, truthful and factual, but the Palins went after him big time after it was published in 2011!

I recommend that folks purchase the book and read it - so many facts were put out there that are really coming to light more and more.

Oh oh Sarah Palin the rats are jumping ship:

"Sarah Palin's Iowa Speech Turned One Of Her Biggest Supporters Against Her"

The Daily Caller's Matt Lewis, an early champion of Sarah Palin, now says he regrets boosting the former Republican vice presidential nominee and shaming her conservative critics....

Even Sean Hannity, whose primetime Fox News program is friendly territory for Palin, was reaching for an explanation for Palin's poor performance at the Iowa summit when heasked if her TelePrompTer had broken. As Lewis put it, "it’s probably time to concede that the early critics of Sarah Palin had a point."....

This most probably IS the beginning of the end of Palin's political aspirations. The establishment on the right has given her a lot of passes since 2008, a long leash if you will. She has a way of connecting with stupid people, birds of a feather and all, and the right saw a use for that. But the right seems to be cutting her off. They probably see her as too much of a loose cannon, too much of a liability. When long time supporters are turning their backs and finally criticizing her status quo modus operandi that we've had to endure for way too long it's probably the last few seconds of her 15 minutes of fame.

I do not pity her in the least. Her response as of late to criticisms is completely unhinged. She's doing ALL the wrong things. Criticizing fox? She may as well be pissing on the steps of the conservative Sistine Chapel. Then again, she's been making shitty decisions since 2008. She COULD have educated herself. She didn't. Buh-bye.
